Who we are

Motozenta (www.motozenta.com) is an online marketplace where sellers in Egypt list cars, motorcycles and scooters, and buyers send price offers or ask to inspect a vehicle. We are the platform, not a dealer: we never take possession of a vehicle and we are not a party to the sale.

Questions about this policy, or any request about your data, go to support@motozenta.com.

What we collect

Only what the marketplace actually needs to work.

  • Account details — the email address you sign up with, or the name and email your Google account shares when you choose Google sign-in, plus the password hash if you use email and password.
  • Profile details — the display name and phone number you choose to save on your account.
  • Listing details — everything you publish: title, vehicle type, body style, model year, asking price in EGP, mileage, fuel, transmission, location, description, highlight tag, status, and any photos you upload.
  • Offers and inspection requests — the type, your offered amount, your preferred date and time, the message you write to the other party, and whether it was accepted, declined or withdrawn.
  • Saved vehicles — which listings you bookmark, so the list is there when you come back.
  • Theme and language choices — whether you prefer light or dark mode and English or Arabic, stored on your own device.

What we do not collect

Motozenta does not process payments. No card, bank or wallet details are ever entered on this site, so we never hold them.

The site loads no advertising trackers, analytics scripts or social pixels, and it sets no advertising cookies. The only things kept in your browser are your sign-in session and your theme and language choices.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data with anyone.

Who can see your data

  • Your phone number is visible only to you. It is not shown to buyers or sellers.
  • A seller sees the display name on your account, your offer or inspection request, and the message you send them — so they can reply to the right person.
  • Anyone browsing can see listings that are marked Active: photos, price, mileage, location and description, plus the seller name shown on the listing.
  • Your email address is not printed on listings or in offers. If you and the other party want to talk directly, you decide whether to share it in your own message.
  • Access rules inside the database limit each account to its own rows: you can read, change or withdraw only your own listings, offers and saved vehicles.

Photos you upload

Photos go into a private storage area, filed under your own account. Direct access to a photo is limited to the person who uploaded it. To show a photo on a listing, the site hands the viewer a personal, expiring link — so buyers see your pictures on your listing, while the storage area itself cannot be browsed from outside.

How long we keep it, and how to delete it

A listing stays until you pause it or mark it sold. An offer stays until you withdraw it or the seller answers. Nothing is deleted on a timer.

You can pause or mark sold any listing, and withdraw any pending offer, from your account page at any time.

To delete your account and everything attached to it — profile, listings, photos, offers, saved vehicles — email support@motozenta.com from your account address. We remove it and confirm to you.

How we protect it

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, never as plain text. Sign-in through Google uses Google's own secure flow. Every data request is checked against per-account access rules in the database itself, not just hidden in the website, so a listing or offer belonging to someone else cannot be read or changed by another account. Photos are private by default.

Children

Motozenta is not aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly accept their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this page we update the date below and, for anything important, say so on the site. Continuing to use Motozenta after a change means you accept the updated policy.
